A recorder should define what it will not do as clearly as what it can do. LivemeRec is designed around public-source boundaries.
No Liveme password
LivemeRec does not ask users to enter Liveme account credentials. It accepts public creator IDs and official public Liveme share links. The service rejects unrelated URLs.
No private-room bypass
The service does not enter password-protected or private rooms and does not attempt to defeat access controls. If Liveme does not expose a supported public stream, recording admission fails.
Website metadata versus delivered media
Public pages can show creator ID, display name, thumbnail, recording time and duration for completed catalog items. The MP4 itself is delivered through Telegram. This avoids turning the web catalog into an unrestricted public video host.
Minimal account state
The Telegram service stores identifiers required for plan, watchlist, referral, delivery and support state. It does not need a Liveme password. Temporary files follow a retention policy, while users control the copies delivered to their Telegram chats.
Creator controls
Verified creators and rights holders can use the DMCA and opt-out contact form. An approved creator block prevents new recordings and starts removal of applicable public metadata and media.
User responsibility
Public availability does not grant unlimited reuse rights. Users must consider consent, copyright, local recording laws and platform terms before saving or sharing a live.
