Recording a Liveme broadcast is straightforward when you start with the correct creator identity and the live is publicly accessible. The difficult part is rarely pressing a button. It is making sure the recorder follows the intended creator, starts from a valid public source, survives ordinary stream reconnects and delivers one coherent result when the creator finishes.
LivemeRec is designed around that complete workflow. You control it through Telegram, while the actual capture runs away from your phone or computer. That means you do not need to keep the Liveme app in the foreground, prevent your screen from locking or leave a desktop recorder open for hours.

Quick answer: how do I record a public Liveme stream?
Use this sequence:
- Find the creator's stable Liveme ID or copy an official public Liveme link.
- Open @livemerec_bot in Telegram.
- Send
/rec CREATOR_IDif the creator is live now. - Send
/watch CREATOR_IDif you want LivemeRec to monitor future public broadcasts. - Wait for the creator to end the broadcast and for processing to finish.
- Receive the finished video or ordered video parts together with its visual contact sheet in Telegram.

What you need before starting
You need a Telegram account, the Liveme creator's public identifier and a stream that Liveme exposes publicly. LivemeRec does not ask for a Liveme password, session cookie or private-room invitation. It does not unlock restricted content. If a stream is private, hidden, unavailable in the recorder's region or not exposed as a usable public media source, the request must stop rather than bypass that boundary.
The official Liveme public live directory can help confirm whether public broadcasts are currently visible. Live availability changes continuously, so a creator appearing in the directory now does not guarantee that the same broadcast will still be live a few minutes later.

Step 1: identify the correct Liveme creator
Liveme profiles can have several human-readable values: a display name, a short ID and an internal numeric account identifier. Display names are the weakest choice because they can change, contain decorative characters or match more than one account. LivemeRec accepts an exact nickname only when the public lookup identifies one unambiguous creator; otherwise it asks for a stronger identifier.
Prefer one of these inputs:
- the numeric Liveme user ID;
- the creator's public short ID;
- an official
liveme.com/u/...profile link; - an official
liveme.com/v/...video or public share link; - an official public live link that identifies the active broadcast.
Do not copy a random third-party redirect or a media URL from browser developer tools. Media URLs can expire and may contain temporary signatures. LivemeRec resolves the current public source itself and intentionally avoids storing those signed addresses in public metadata.
After the bot resolves the input, check the displayed creator name and ID. If they do not match the account you intended, cancel the request and find the correct ID. That one-minute check is much cheaper than waiting for an unrelated live to finish.
Step 2: choose manual recording or a watchlist
Manual recording and watchlist monitoring solve different timing problems.
Use /rec CREATOR_ID when the creator is already live. The bot checks the current public state and attempts to create one recording for that live session. Repeating the same command does not create multiple independent copies of the same broadcast; the service tracks the live identity to prevent duplicate work and duplicate delivery.
Use /watch CREATOR_ID when you care about the next broadcast rather than the current one. The watchlist stores the stable creator identity and checks for future eligible public lives. Watchlist slots and active-recording capacity are different limits. A slot is one creator you have asked the service to monitor. Active capacity controls how many recordings your account can receive at the same time. Check the current LivemeRec pricing and plan table instead of relying on an old screenshot, because plan details may change before public launch.
Step 3: let the recorder follow the live
Once a request is accepted, you do not need to keep Telegram open. The recorder periodically closes immutable video segments and hands them to the processing pipeline. If Liveme refreshes the public playback address during a broadcast, LivemeRec can request a fresh source for the same creator and the same live identity.
That last condition matters. A creator may end one live and begin another later. The recorder must not silently append the second broadcast to the first. LivemeRec checks the public video identity during source refresh and stops the current job if the identity changes.
Ordinary network instability can cause a public player to reconnect. The recorder tolerates short, recoverable interruptions, but it cannot manufacture frames that Liveme never delivered. If the source disappears permanently, is made private or becomes invalid, the result may be shorter than the time shown in the creator's interface. Step 4: wait for creator-ended completion
A successful recording normally remains active until the creator ends the eligible public live, the user's plan duration is reached or the source becomes unavailable beyond recovery. Closing Telegram does not stop it. Locking your phone does not stop it. Starting another app does not stop it.
Do not repeatedly send /rec because processing appears quiet. Long lives need time to finish, merge and prepare. The bot's status and live-now views are the right place to check progress. Repeated commands create noise and can make a transient platform lookup look like a service failure.
Free and paid plans can have different duration and concurrency policies. A plan limit is enforced by the backend, not by clipping an already delivered Telegram message. If a recording is longer than Telegram can transport as one file, processing can create ordered video parts. That is a transport split, not a loss of the original sequence.
Step 5: understand the Telegram delivery
After capture ends, the service validates and prepares the media, creates a player cover and builds a timestamped contact sheet. Archive-first processing gives the finished media a durable internal delivery reference before the main bot sends it to eligible recipients. The user-facing result should arrive as one Telegram album: the video, or its ordered parts, plus the contact sheet.
The cover includes subtle LivemeRec branding in the lower corner. The video itself is not re-encoded merely to burn a permanent watermark into every frame; branding is applied to presentation assets so it does not degrade or obstruct the broadcast. The contact sheet samples moments across the recording and helps you inspect the result before opening a long file.

What quality should I expect?
LivemeRec prefers the public HLS stream when Liveme provides one and can fall back to a compatible public FLV source. It preserves the public stream's video and audio characteristics whenever that media can be safely packaged. A 720-by-1280 portrait source should remain portrait; a low-bitrate source cannot be turned into native high definition by changing the MP4 container.
Quality can vary between creators and between broadcasts from the same creator. The creator's connection, capture device, Liveme's encoding decision, CDN path and momentary packet loss all affect the bytes available to a recorder. Screen size in the Liveme app is not a reliable measure of source resolution.
For best results, start the manual command soon after the live begins or add the creator to a watchlist in advance. A recorder cannot recover the opening minutes that passed before it discovered the public live, and it cannot reconstruct a broadcast after the platform has removed every usable source.
Common problems and their meaning
The bot says the creator is offline. The creator may genuinely be offline, the live may have ended between lookup and request, or Liveme may not currently expose a public source. Confirm the creator ID and retry later. Add the stable ID to your watchlist if you want automatic detection.
The identifier is ambiguous. A nickname matched more than one public account or did not identify one exact account. Use the numeric UID, short ID or official profile link instead.
The bot reports a temporary error. A public Liveme endpoint, network path or Telegram request may be temporarily unavailable. Wait briefly and retry once. Repeating commands rapidly will not make an external endpoint recover sooner.
The delivered recording starts late. Manual capture can begin only after the command resolves a currently available public source. Use /watch before the next broadcast if recording from the earliest detectable point matters.
The video is split. Telegram file-size constraints required multiple ordered media parts. The album caption and contact sheet still describe one recording.
No video arrives immediately after the live. Finalization includes media validation, merging, cover generation, contact-sheet creation and secure Telegram delivery. Longer media needs more processing time. Check /status before opening a support ticket.

Responsible-use checklist
Before recording, ask four questions:
- Is the stream genuinely public and available without circumventing an access control?
- Do I have a legitimate reason and any permission required to save it?
- Will I avoid publishing personal, copyrighted or sensitive material without authorization?
- Do I know how to request correction, opt-out or removal if a creator raises a concern?
Liveme publishes its own Terms of Service, privacy terms and other service rules. Those documents govern use of Liveme itself; local law and the rights of people appearing in a stream may add further obligations. A reliable workflow for the next live
Use the numeric or short Liveme ID, verify the resolved creator, choose /rec for a live happening now or /watch for future monitoring, and then let the creator-ended workflow complete. That workflow avoids the most common failures: ambiguous nicknames, late manual starts, duplicated requests, interrupted phone screen recording and separated delivery assets. Can LivemeRec record a private Liveme room?
No. LivemeRec is designed only for supported public sources. It does not request account credentials or circumvent a private, restricted or unavailable stream.
Does my phone need to remain unlocked?
No. Capture happens remotely. After the bot accepts the request, you can close Telegram, lock the phone or use it for something else.
Can I record a Liveme broadcast that already ended?
Not unless an eligible source is still publicly available and supported. A watchlist is the safer option for future broadcasts because a recorder cannot recreate media it never captured.
Why did LivemeRec create more than one video part?
